Crystal Kendrick, president of The Voice of Your Customer, was named a 2016 Woman of Distinction by the Girls Scouts of Western Ohio. She received the S.T.E.A.M Award that recognizes leaders in the arts and sciences who promote and advocate for the advancement and recognition of women in these careers. These women are role models, mentors and have demonstrated leadership success in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Crystal is being recognized for her impact on the community through social media. Over the years, she has developed an extensive online following as her marketing firm specializes in engaging diverse populations. She uses her online influence to share information about local events, matters of interest and opportunities for personal advancement. In February 2016, her business launched The Voice of Black Cincinnati, a website dedicated to educating, recognizing and creating opportunities for African Americans in the region
Crystal, along with four other women of distinction, will be honored at an event held March 15, 2016, at the Queen City Club from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Attendance is open to the public, but RSVP is required.
